Like other reviewers I struggled to hold them in place while trying to drive them. I actually supported them as I had to start the car so I could get out through the driver's door. I ended up attaching the front ones to some MDF boards I had, but they didn't work any better until I put a non-slip mat under the boards. For the back, I used a board that was inserted into the back of the garage curb that kept the back boards from sliding. The other issue was aligning them so that the front and back are properly spaced, as you have to go through all four at once, which can be problematic when slipping. Next year I will mount them as a front pair and as a rear pair. are bolted to the plywood, so I eliminate variations in width by placing them manually. I will also build a longer ramp towards the front edge to eliminate the abrupt transition that requires "force" across the front edge of the stand, which is a major cause of ramp slippage. If the leading edge was longer and had a non-slip bottom, they would be better. As it is I can only say that they will work, but only with modifications.
