The louvers may add an automotive aesthetic, but they don't provide any practical benefits... Wind still hits the whole hood, and the louvers do nothing to direct it anywhere specific. The installation can also be a nightmare as the design is not universal at all and may not fit correctly. One pro, however, is that the louvers are made of durable materials..
