I have a five year old decorative concrete house that stamps regular matte concrete. The stamped concrete was "painted" with an oil based high gloss product before I bought the house. Five years and the processing of stamped concrete is over. I pressure washed the concrete and looked for a less shiny product and found this water based product from Glaze and Seal. Products that say "wet look" don't look good for a long time, so I wanted to add some shine to differentiate decorative concrete from regular concrete. Cardboard as a privacy screen to keep it from shifting into areas I didn't want a gloss. It worked great. It seals the concrete to prevent ingress of large amounts of water and makes it easier to blow away dirt and debris. I put on two coats of sealer and will probably do it again next summer just to keep it looking good and working the way it is. I highly recommend this product.
