Review on High-performance Chrome 2-Speed Heavy Duty Fan by Prime Products (06-0850) by Ronny Prather

Prime Products fans were used in the cab of a forklift truck to keep operators cool. I took quick fix

After installing 8 of these and then installing a Maradyne 3000-12 fan, there is no comparison which one to buy when you need airflow. Prime Products fans have been used in forklift truck cabs to keep operators cool. I quickly decided to buy them because I needed to buy something for the operators. They were about 10 inches from their heads. You could barely feel the airflow on your head and they wanted me to find a better fan. Most if not all of these 6-1/2" fans are low quality, mass-produced Chinese units that push air but have no speed. I had a new, older Maradyne unit which I installed on the 9th. Truck, model was 3000-12 and when other operators found out how much better this fan was I bought 8 more and threw all those Prime Products units in the trash. The Maradyne 3000-12 emits 270 CFM of air at high velocity, enough to keep your hair moving while you're sitting in the same spot on the aforementioned forklifts. If the Maradyne's horsepower is 270 cfm at high rpm, I reckon Prime Products will skip about half of that at high rpm, and that's generous. Spend the extra money and get a quality device. You will not regret it.
