Works great. I like that when I go to bed I don't have to get up to change the fan speed or turn off the lights. Call me lazy but this thing is amazing. To install this I had to lower my existing fan, take out the old unit, open the electrical box and make the connections. You'll definitely want to turn off the switch, even if it does turn off with the light switch, it's better to be safe than sorry than get electrocuted. The control module is NOT designed to be placed in the control box as I thought, but to be installed in the fan motor housing. One problem is that you need to make sure all of your wiring connections are inside the control box so you don't risk a fire. I managed to tuck everything away cleanly from moving parts and test range. The range is excellent! I can turn the light on and off from the street near my house! Really my only complaint is that mine arrived with a large printed logo on the remote which looks a bit garish. I plan on scraping it off eventually, but until then I just find it annoying. I hope my review was helpful. Be careful if you want to do the installation yourself. Read the instructions carefully and take your time. Much luck!
