It makes firm hamburger patties
Works very well. If you squeeze too hard, the insert ring will rise and release the meat underneath. but with a little practice it works quite well. With the ability to squeeze the meat more than you can by hand, these patties hold up very well on the grill and are the perfect size for adding cheese and topping on a bun. We'll probably be using it for years now that we have it.
