Review on 3-Pack Stress Balls For Adults & Kids - The Friendly Swede Hand Squeezer Grip Strength Therapy Ball Bulk Set by Mike Pearson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

VERY helpful to this old stiff person.

Exactly the things to keep me from strangling irritating people I encounter daily. ::grinning::Seriously, however, gripping the softest one for a few minutes several times a day relieves the onset of arthritis in these creative hands, and along with a whole lot of turmeric and bromelain relieves the pain and allows me to knit, do daily tasks of life, home maintenance and small repairs, and allows me to FORGET I hurt for a few years more. Thank you "Friendly Swede."I'm betting these graduated gripping strength eggs are the ticket when rehabilitating the hand after surgery or the tendons and muscles after fixation and repair of bones in a broken wrist. I wish I had had these a decade and a half ago when I broke my wrist. They'd have been just the ticket after I stopped using that horrible banjo brace which I worked religiously until I was deemed to have been mostly repaired. Even 15 plus years later, the eggs are helpful in keeping limber. I felt, knit, paint, make small wire sculptures, bead in making art and some crafts. In the kitchen I like making potstickers and ravioli or tortellini from scratch which are fussy work with small portions of food ingredients. As a single homeowner, I'm also the handyperson, and that requires that I can work with tools, often doing fiddly tasks which require both manual dexterity and muscular strength in hands and arms. These little eggs are a VERY good warmup. Read a book, flex the hands and arms.

Pros
  • Needed for exercising my hand after nerve damage.
Cons
  • May be difficult to grip for some users
