There is real thought behind these therapy balls

Having experienced increased stiffness and weakness in my hands lately, I have tried a few different types of squeeze balls or cushions, with ho-hum results. This may have been because I expected too much, too soon, or that the simple squeeze action alone is simply not effective. The 3 firmness levels included in the package and the 5 exercises described make it possible to customize the activity to better address my needs. The only drawback is that the instructions are a bit sparse - I know…

Pros
  • I love the feel of these gel stress balls. Perfect thing to put in my hand while studying.
Cons
  • The squeeziest one is the best- but the other ones are super tough

Better than expected.

I purchased these exercise balls to relieve the pain in my arthritic hands. I used the medium firmness while watching tv at night and the next day the discomfort in my hands was less painful. Also, since my daughter suffers from weakness in her hands due to MS, I gave her the softer one to try. They are well made and have no odor. After each use, I just rinse/wash with hand soap, dry and put away. I am very happy with product.

Pros
  • ✅ SIZE SELECTION: Available in two different sizes, small (2.16") and large (2.36") size indicates diameter of stress balls. Both options offer 2 pieces of each resistance so that you can train both hands simultaneously.
Cons
  • May not be effective for those with specific hand or finger ailments (e.g. arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome

Excellent product in the egg-shaped makes all the difference.

I suffer from severe hand and finger cramps. Squeezing a tennis ball and a baseball are good relief but, what I like most about these is the egg shape. It makes them have a more natural while small enough to take with you. I wish they could be purchased individually by strengths instead of all three. I would buy three more of the firmest and keep one in the car , one in the house and one to throw in my pocket or bag to travel with me. The lightest of all of them seems to be a little too soft…

Pros
  • ✅ PREMIUM QUALITY MATERIALS: TPR gel creates a nice squeeze ball resistance whilst being durable. The Lycra surface provides a comfortable, luxurious feeling. It also protects them from picking up dust and dirt, and the sticky feeling of more basic stress balls is gone for good. The ergonomic design feels great in any person's hands.
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for use in certain settings (e.g. quiet environments, meetings

VERY helpful to this old stiff person.

Exactly the things to keep me from strangling irritating people I encounter daily. ::grinning::Seriously, however, gripping the softest one for a few minutes several times a day relieves the onset of arthritis in these creative hands, and along with a whole lot of turmeric and bromelain relieves the pain and allows me to knit, do daily tasks of life, home maintenance and small repairs, and allows me to FORGET I hurt for a few years more. Thank you "Friendly Swede."I'm betting these…

Pros
  • Needed for exercising my hand after nerve damage.
Cons
  • May be difficult to grip for some users

Excellent size, shape, & resistance

Had a similar product that consisted of (3) color coded 2" round balls. It was adequate but I was looking for a larger size to fit my larger hands. This product is perfect. They are egg shaped, color coded, with size up to 3". Looks like it will last for years. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Grip Strengtheners
Cons
  • May not be as effective for stress relief as other methods (e.g. meditation, exercise

Good product. Get the right size.

I ordered these egg shaped Friendly Swede grip strengtheners in order to keep my hand strength after I retired and no longer get the daily workout I received as an Electrician. They arrived quickly and are exactly as described. I was disappointed that they are made in China, as I am concerned about quality control and toxicity on many products from China. But I personalty so far have not had any adverse reactions. I like the fact that they are slightly tacky and being egg shaped, they are less…

Pros
  • Improved my grip strengthNot too crazy about the seams. They are unpleasant to the touch for me.
Cons
  • May attract dirt and dust easily

Life saver (well… hand saver at the least)!

I'm recently in a wheelchair due to degenerative central nervous system damage. I'm also an avid (obsessive?) knitter, which helps me to deal with the constant pain from the nerve damage.Moving through life on my arms instead of my legs has caused some shifting of pain and stiffness from my legs and feet to my shoulders and wrists. When the pain became so great that I couldn't even pick up a hairbrush without stabbing pain, much less knit (cook, type, dress myself…) I looked for exercise balls…

Pros
  • Can be used to improve coordination and fine motor skills
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with certain disabilities or impairments

Like them enough that I bought them twice

I liked these enough that I bought another set for my wife. She took them to her office for her employees to play with in the conference room. The egg shaped exercise balls are a nifty little idea. They, of course, work as a stress ball but they are superior. Their material and shape make them a good exercise tool. The 3 different levels of difficulty that come in the pack vary quite a bit. The easy is something you can squeeze for an hour. The most difficult will wear your hand out fairly…

Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • May not provide enough resistance for some users

Good size -- roughly the size of a real large egg; fit nicely in my palm. I was worried it might be a little small, but it's a good size -- not too small, not too big. As for firmness, between the three eggs, I suspect everyone will have the "right" level of resistance. My only disappointment -- and it's a minor one -- is that the eggs are quite gummy (or sticky) feeling, which isn't a problem when you're holding them, but I happened to drop one while attempting the between-the-fingers…

Pros
  • Convenient bulk set of 3 stress balls for use at home, work, or on-the-go
Cons
  • May not be as aesthetically pleasing as other stress balls on the market

Grip strength for my opinion

I bought these stress balls to help out slightly with grip strength and I feel like they do help. As far as relieving stress I feel it’s all in the mind. If you are using these balls and feel like they relieve stress then they relieve stress.

Pros
  • Balls are easy to squeeze and use. Shape makes them easy to hold
Cons
  • Quality may vary between balls in a set

Keeps hands busy, good for keeping attention

Just received the package today, and have tried all of the eggs. The egg measures at 6cm long, a little under 2.5 inches. They are about 4.1cm or 1.6" at the widest. The eggs are the right size for my palm, but may be too small for a man with large hands. For reference, my hand is about 9.5cm wide, from the joint of my thumb to the other edge of my palm, straight across. As of now, my favorite egg is the yellow. I consider myself a fairly athletic young person, but the yellow is the right…

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • May be distracting or annoying to others in a shared workspace

Terrific Product! best in my review

Bought these for my son as he has severe anxiety and he believed a "stress ball" would help him out. Having seen other "stress balls" on the market, I was not impressed. He went through a couple and said they didn't really work, however he really likes these. I bought these for just two reasons - something for him to squeeze and something that will ultimately build his grip-strength and help him in other ways - especially since grip strength is vital to overall strength. He…

Pros
  • Can be used as a tool in physical therapy or rehabilitation
Cons
  • May not provide relief for those with severe or chronic stress

THEY WORK! for my opinion

FRIENDLY SWEDE HAND GRIP STRENGTHENING STRESS RELIEF EXERCISE BALLSAbout a month ago I suffered severe muscle spasms in my neck, back, and shoulder. All these muscles are attached and even made my arm and hand feel wonky. After a trip to the ER -- and chest/heart xrays/EKG to rule out any heart problems -- it was determined I was having muscle spasms. I had been a lunch lady for 30 years and did plenty of repetitive work daily for all those years. Then I retired [yay!] and after a while, my…

  • Made from high-quality, non-toxic materials for safe, long-lasting use

These eggs have been extremely helpful in my hand rehab!

I broke a finger about 9 months ago, and have been experiencing tightness and limited movement in my hand ever since the injury healed. Lately, I have noticed a lot of pain while golfing and thought I would try to exercise my hand and finger muscles to strengthen them. These eggs are absolutely great! First off, they don't have a bad smell like a lot of rubber products. I can use them without feeling the need to immediately wash my hands afterwards. The 3 options for firmness is also great…

Pros
  • So easy to use while watching evening news.
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or pain with prolonged use
