This has reduced the temperature of my router significantly. While it used to be almost too hot to touch under full load, it's now almost cold. The network speed increases accordingly. At low and medium speeds, the fans make a rattling noise, and at high speeds, the fans can be a bit louder than they should be. These are two 120mm fans, you can't expect them to whisper but hope that at a lower speed they at least won't make a noise you can't live with.
