Review on Powertec 70175 Dust Collection Hose: Efficient Fittings, Two Reducers & Black Color by Jordan Weakland

This product is mostly excellent. However, I have an issue that prevents me from giving a fifth star. The connection between the size plastic adapter (solid part in the picture below) and the socket on the hose is not tight enough. It's only noticeable because about 20% of the time I use it (I use mine mostly with my handheld routers) it falls apart simply by using the router on the part I'm working on, even with 6.5 suction hp. (Top) shop vacuum cleaner that sucks. A secure fit or a rubber o-ring to ensure a snug fit would make this product ideal. Routers without problems An interesting tip: If you mainly use only one router, tie a hose to the power cord of the device to simplify the whole job: Instead of using a cable and hose, you work with a single attachment. I also use velcro to attach it to my elbow so my natural body movement moves the hose and cable along with the router, preventing an unexpected pull that could affect your routing.
