We bought this item to have in the home so we can hear when our cell phones ring. We don't have a landline and often missed calls when our phones vibrated, charged in another room, or when we were upstairs and the phone was downstairs. We bought these and put one on the bottom and one on the top. Every time our phones ring, now these phones ring too! Don't worry about missed calls anymore. Even my kids can take the call if they need to and can't find my phone. Another great feature is that I can use this as long as my phone is plugged into a charger. No more chained to a wall charger! The only problem we encountered is that the Bluetooth connection sometimes drops. However, we never had it during a conversation, only sometimes when we were out and coming back. We just have to make sure they are connected when we are at home. never mind This works for two different mobile phones at the same time. The display shows whose phone is ringing. You can download your contacts to the phone, but we've never used that.
