Good Phones: Phones and Accessories

These are good phones. I bought it because I needed not only a cell phone but also a landline phone. I'm seventy years old now and all I need is a landline to remind me of the old days. I also like having a land line because you can dial 911 and EMS will automatically get your address. So if you can only dial 911 and can't even speak, EMS will come to your home and find you. So this is important. A cell phone won't do that. You have to tell them where you are. What to do if you can't speak! I…

Works for what we need

We have long wanted to ditch our landline to save money. However, my wife didn't like the idea of just using our cell phones. She was concerned if we would hear them depending on which room we were in or if we forgot to turn them on. It was the perfect solution. Once connected via Bluetooth we have 3 phones to answer all calls. It was easy for them to connect our phones to the system. I was even able to download our contacts. I haven't figured out how to use contacts on the phone yet. I would…

I love the Bluetooth function

My wife slips away. Technology passes many people by. For people who are not tech savvy, there is no longer a simple cell phone. I work part time from home and need to be able to call my wife while I'm away. She doesn't understand how to answer a cell phone (Android or iPhone, and forget the clamshell phone!). I bought this product because others have used the Bluetooth function. That works great. The base unit is easy to connect and when the phone leaves our house and comes back it connects…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Fix it

I think these answers are intentionally vague to avoid showing customers the true limitations of the product. So let's break it down: 1. You *can* connect a BT.2 headset. You *can* receive an incoming landline call on your BT.3 headset. You *CAN* make an outgoing landline call using a VsTech handset and connect it to a BT.4 headset. You *CAN* make an outgoing cell phone call through a VsTech handset and connect it to a BT.5 headset. You *CAN* receive an incoming cell phone call through a VsTech

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Clearly bad product

Great for those who don't have a landline

We bought this item to have in the home so we can hear when our cell phones ring. We don't have a landline and often missed calls when our phones vibrated, charged in another room, or when we were upstairs and the phone was downstairs. We bought these and put one on the bottom and one on the top. Every time our phones ring, now these phones ring too! Don't worry about missed calls anymore. Even my kids can take the call if they need to and can't find my phone. Another great feature is that I…

Pretty easy to use, sound quality is great, could be a life saver.

Works very well. I bought it for my elderly mother who had problems with her cell phone and didn't have a landline. It takes her back to a time when phones weren't that complicated and she could use them with ease. Salvation, now I can call her and check on her instead of always getting her cell phone voicemail because her cell phone somewhere in her bedroom has lost power. She'll never need her cell phone out of the house, so you can just leave it on. One in her bedroom, one in the living…

No more disruptions!

I bought this DECT 6.0 system because congestion on the 2.4GHz band in my apartment building was interfering with my existing cordless phones. Wireless Headset IS6200. I like using a headset with a microphone on my head to talk hands-free while doing chores, typing, cooking, etc. without the on-ear version crashing twice a day. After using these handsets for a month, I've come to the conclusion that the phone's speaker works well enough to make a headset unnecessary for now. Good to know that a
