The description of this product is misleading or unclear at best. This bed is NOT FOR CHILDREN. The foam is soft and can increase the risk of SIDS. If you think it might help your child sleep better, don't risk it. This bed is designed for children over 1 year old. For people with small children, this is a soft bed that feels comfortable. The bed arrived vacuum packed and rolled up. It expanded to full size almost immediately. There was a slight smell of foam for the first 3-4 days so we decided to air it as we were in no hurry. It has a fiberglass cover (see photo) which has been added since they were recalled due to flammability issues a few months ago. This is instead of a chemical treatment. The "bamboo" case says it's 100% polyester, I don't know if that means bamboo can be considered polyester or if it's another example of bad marketing. We haven't had a waterproof case tested yet.
