I had a Wahl trimmer that I have used for 7 or 8 years. Eventually it died and I wanted to try something new, especially since the old Wahl wasn't waterproof and didn't have adjustable protection. First I tried Mueller, then this Remington. Both were pretty much useless, although the Remington fared slightly better. All parts are thin, it pulls hair out as many times as it cuts it, and "Turbo Mode" is the speed my other trimmers typically ran at. "Normal" mode does nothing. I have fine blonde hair and this trimmer literally and figuratively couldn't cut it. It lacks some features, but the wall can cut hairs. Compared to the metal of the blades, the blades on these Remingtons are mostly stamped, raw sheet metal 1/3 the thickness of choice. Cheap, cheap, cheap. take something better
