Bought this bowl after reading the reviews. I'm new to wet shaving so I'm experimenting with different products. What I like about this bowl is that it's quite heavy and feels good in the hand. It's also easy to hold while blending and frothing. The interior is lightly textured to create thick foam volumes. In general very satisfied. One commenter mentioned that the bowl showed signs of water staining after a few weeks of use. This is because granite is a rock. What I did before using mine was a few coats of natural stone sealer. This did not change the shell's appearance or function, and it was not intended to absorb water to foul it later. I hope this review was helpful to you. I would recommend a bowl.
