After more than a decade of subpar home audio I was finally able to find a qualified (marine electronics!) technician to fix the amazing Aragon amplifier system my wife bought in the 90's. when we made money This led to a new problem: most of their CDs are pseudo-pop-jazz from the 90s. Fourplay, Michael Franks and so on. You can see why their excitement about being able to use their system was actually negative for fans of good music. my phone and my desktop. The best desktop speakers fall short of what we've been able to enjoy again. We tried plugging RCA cables into my phone's headphone jack, but the output was limited and we couldn't get enough input to create a stereo project. Bought a HomeSpot device on a whim for about $25. This allowed us to listen to great music while eating, since I can hold my phone about 20 feet away and control what's playing and what I skip. The sound quality is okay since we're talking Bluetooth and MP3, but it's still better than the Spyro Gyra on CD and it's better than the active desktop speakers we've used. I would recommend this to anyone who has an old school stereo that sounds better than any modern "soundbar".
