Not universal: door and stair gates
The concept is cool, but unfortunately I didn't like it. I have a complicated ladder trying to figure out how to properly secure it. The widest attachment between the spindles was still too narrow for my spindle width, 4-7/8β. I also have a problem with the mounting wood bar because my spindles are not flush with the solid base of the stair, but if I could get the spindle width mounts to work I could easily cut the wood. I love this concept and haven't seen many other thin metal spindle options, but I'll have to go back to the drawing board to come up with another idea.
