Works! A few weeks after installation, the wind lifted the door and slammed it against the paddock in the parking lot. He took all the damage - at first glance (due to the deformation of the protection) I was sure that the edge of the door was damaged, but I was pleasantly surprised when I took it off, everything was fine! It was easy to install but as others have said stretch it slightly during installation for a better fit. Barely noticeable unless you're looking for it up close.
