XPEL Clear Universal Protection R3023 Review

Like other Xpel films, it is easy to apply and the film itself is thick enough to protect. When applying, be sure to gently stretch the film around the bends. Also, make sure to hold the film with your fingers when applying, otherwise mini air bubbles will form.

No complaints yet. Installation was much easier than I expected, the product stuck to the edge of the door with no problem, just make sure it's not too windy, it will be more difficult to handle at night. In general, it's still too early for all 5 stars. I'll have to see how long they last but the price was reasonable and I'm happy with the product.

Works! A few weeks after installation, the wind lifted the door and slammed it against the paddock in the parking lot. I installed it myself and had no problem with the tape sticking to the door. I applied a small amount of Griot's Garage Paint Prep after cleaning the doors and before applying the film. Watch their videos to get an idea and don't rip off the entire backing at once. Peel off the paper as you go down so it doesn't stick to itself or anything else. Edge.
