I have a 4.5 pound toy poodle and have tried many different boots. If they stay their feet won't stay dry etc. So I will order them for them. Just put these boots on my 10 lb boy who has never worn boots and is a naughty little dog. It was a bit tricky to put on, but I stretched the elastic and then slipped my finger under his paw to tuck it into the boot. At first he didn't even want to take a step but after getting outside in 2-3 inches of snow he ran and was so excited and happy. Usually his paws are cold and he wants in. Not today. We walked a half mile in the snow and when we got home his feet were warm and completely dry. I will be ordering these for my 4.5 lb girl - when we came back from a walk today her feet were wet and cold despite wearing TWO pairs of other boots. She needs THOSE booties!
