Easily installs in a solid wood door with a 1/2" wood drill bit. Provides a panoramic view of my back entrance, driveway, and even cars on the street - love it. Because there are four steps, leading to my back door with no top platform most people will knock and then come down for me to open the door.Even though the viewer is at my eye level I can still see them.I was expecting the lens to be up It's on the inside of the viewing window but it's not. It's open. It won't last long. It looks unfinished and is a haven for dust and dirt. But for the price it gets the job done for now. Would recommend to anyone who needs a viewer for less than $10.
