Review on Tandy Leather Revival Handbag 44373 00 by Kristen Simpson

Tandy sets are the worst! when working with Renaissance Bag Set I.

Tandy sets are the worst! When working with the Rebirth Pouch Set, I found that the clasp that came with it didn't fit as shown in the instructions, so two extra holes had to be punched. If you do the math and try again, you'll run out of laces and have to buy new ones and start over. The overall design of the inner bag could have been better designed by a chimpanzee. Round holes for a flat tip - The quality of the leather supplied in the kit is poor, requiring three times work to make the finished product acceptable. Lace, because of which he is often torn. Tandy kits were way better 25 years ago. I have a wallet I made from a Tandy set in 1987 that I still use to this day. but the current kits are rubbish. While many of the consumables and tools I get from Tandy are top notch, with the kits they have become too cheap, I'm not a leatherworking beginner, I've been working with leather since the 1980's, hence the issues I see , not due to inexperience .
