I bought these boots as an alternative to hiking boots for a trip to Florida. I wanted something thicker and harder for the trails than my KSO EVOs (which I really like but are getting old). Unfortunately the V 2.0 is not as user friendly as the KSO EVO. As other reviewers have pointed out, there are uncomfortably thick seams in places like the base of the toes (where they emerge at the top of the foot). I also feel like they barely fit (I usually wear 7.5 in regular shoes and my KSO EVO is 38). However, I think they wear out more and more over time every time I wear them. And honestly, I don't wear them often. I also started wearing socks with this style, while with my KSO EVO I didn't. Without socks, they would definitely be unbearable. So I would advise you to think about the sizes and also have socks ready if you want to try the V 2.0. While not my favorite pair, I will still wear them on my hikes and may look into other styles of Vibrams. I think you should really know the styles and find one or more that works for you.
