The product image shows an easy-to-read dial. You have to be hit by a very bright light because you have to tilt it all the way over to remove the shadow on the dial from the edge of the case. It's easy to read when you can see it. According to the description, the watch measures 8 inches. No, that is not so. My wrist is 6 3/4 inches. In order to get the strap on my wrist, I had to tighten it so much that it cut into me. Great watch for a little kid! Gave them to my niece and she loved them! I love Casio for casual watches. So if you need a watch for a kid, or if you have a VERY small wrist and don't use the second hand to count someone's pulse or breathing, this is a GREAT watch.
