Its really good gel- its the nice hard stuff not the runny sticky kind

This is my favorite kind of builder gel- its the "hard" kind, not the "soft" sticky runny polygel- like stuff. Both kinds are good, and for as many people i know who prefer the harder kind (like me), i know just as many who prefer the softer kind. It is SO hard to tell the difference between the 2 before you spend your money and get it home and open it up, so thats how i like to start my reviews of builder gel, by differentiating which kind it is. Ive also heard it called "hard gel" vs its softer sister the "soft gel"So, this is definitely a "hard gel" , and its a great one at that. When i do builder gel, i use polygel brushes, the kind that has the small brush on one end and a metal spatula on the other end. This gel is so easy to work with, i can easily use the spatula end of my brush to dip into the container to dig out the exact size chunk i need. Its not runny, its not leaving a sticky strand off the brush as i dig it out, it comes out in perfect little chunks. Since it is a hard gel, it is a little harder to work with if you arent experienced with using hard gel. If youve never used hard gel before you should definitely watch a bunch of tutorials first to help you out, most beginners do find hard gel a little harder to work with if they dont have experience with it. I personally think its the soft gel thats harder to work with, its sticky, its runny, it doesnt stay in place, it starts levelling itself etc etc. With hard gel, it stays exactly where you put it. I normally use polygels and acrylics when doing my nails or someone elses nails, but anytime and everytime i need to do nails that are clear, or encapsulate something like glitter or flowers or confetti, thats when i use my hard gel. No other product creates such a beautiful crystal clear nail than hard gel does. This is actually the first colored hard gel that ive ever used- ive always just used clear hard gels, and some colored soft gels, and ive used the basic white builder gel in the bottle type gels, but never a colored hard gel. Im very happy with it, and im so ordering more colors.Im very very very happy with this item

This thick gel is not only great for 3d nail art, but building nail extensions as well. I used the duo forms. Loaded the form up w product, apply it to the nail and pressed down. Cured in the light for 2 min then filed and finished.
