Review on Genuine OEM Hyundai Air Filter 28113-C1100: Ensuring Optimal Performance and Air Quality by John Fuentes
Part numbers match but part number does not match specification
I pulled an old filter out of my 2017 Sonata Sport. Part number 28113-C1100. Bought the same part number but the new filter barely fits in. Latched tabs in correct position. The air filter cover does not latch properly. Need pliers to pull out the NEW one. At the moment I replaced the OLD filter. (No problem with inserting OLD - it fits). Again - for those who think I'm an idiot - the part numbers match. I think one of the locking bars is a little off spec. (Old filter on the right in the photo).
