Review on Graphic tablet WACOM Intuos S Bluetooth CTL-4100WL black by Ada Kolodziey ᠌

A normal product, however, does not fully correspond to the description.

This line of Wacom tablets (as well as neighboring budget ones) uses not very pleasant plastic of the working surface (or the material of the nibs is bad) - after a while the pen is turned on one side and begins to scratch unpleasantly over the surface. About 4 years ago, we also bought a budget Wacom Intuos CTH-480 model with a gray work surface - it is much more pleasant to work on it - the pen runs like clockwork on the surface, but now these models are no longer sold. Of course, dances with a tambourine should also be attributed to the disadvantages when setting up its work in Windows (in my opinion, this applies to all Wacom tablets, maybe I can’t say to others either). Namely, it is necessary to disable in the driver, work with Window handwriting, especially in Windows 10 (otherwise brakes), but then Photoshop does not recognize the force of pressing the pen :( In short, either the reaction to pressing or the brakes :) I use Photoshop not for drawing, but for retouching my reaction on pressing is not needed, so I disable handwriting.

Pros
  • Compact, rechargeable via USB, you can even use the power supply from your phone. The charge is used sparingly. Powered by bluetooth, does not take up the USB port of the laptop. The bluetooth does not slow down, but you just need to turn off the Windows handwriting service, otherwise it's just a disaster.
Cons
  • Dancing with a tambourine while setting up his work. The pen, after some time of use, begins to scratch unpleasantly on the surface. Looks like cheap materials were used.
