After having to repeatedly throw aways tons of food and having to pay super high electricity bills because son doesn't know how to shut the freezer door after rummaging for food. it was time to get creative. Not sure if it would work, but for the small price, it was worth a try. Installing the door closer only took about 15 minutes. I decided to use shorter sheet metal screws instead of the ones supplied. but for a regular door install, the supplied screws are more than adequate. The door closer works flawlessly, closing the freezer door complet shut with no issues! While the hidge does look a bit out of place on the freezer. it's a beat up garage freezer so who cares?! .Now if I can only figure out a way to get my son to flush the toilet. then all my worldly problems would be solved!
