I originally ordered one of these because I had major shoulder surgery and needed to immobilize my left arm for an extended period of time. I needed to be able to drive safely with my hand in an immobilizer bandage and it worked great! With one hand, it's easy to perform smooth turns, even U-turns. I liked it so much that now that I can use my arm again after all these months, I still use this device because it is so comfortable and easy to use. I ordered this second one because my husband liked it so much he wanted one for his van too. It is wonderful!
