I bought these cables to replace others that ended up not connecting to my phone's connection point. This new brand I went with has to do with a secure click closure and has done a great job so far. Eventually, as with any brand, I expect the locking mechanism to wear out, but that's inevitable. For the price paid for this set of 3 I am very satisfied. Update: September 6th 2020 I've been using these new cables daily for over a month now with frequent plugging and unplugging of the cable and I'm happy to report that they are still VERY strong and make a solid contact. I actually think these are the best lines I've used in years and I've used them many times! I definitely recommend trying these cords. :)
