When I first started autocrossing I used a cheap gauge and quickly became embarrassed when I realized I was probably one of the few people who checked the safety of their tires on a gauge exposed, which is the case in most cases, is not very accurate. I started borrowing sensors like this from other autocrossers and knew immediately I needed one when I saw how easy it was to not only read the value, but also to vent the excess air. When I read the reviews for this gauge, I was immediately impressed by all of the reviews, especially the $20 gauge. I decided to put it to the test at my next autocross event and found to my surprise that it differed by only 1psi, if at all, from other more important sensors used by enthusiasts at my local autocross club became. This is a must-have for anyone looking for an inexpensive, reliable way to not only measure tire pressure, but also bleed some air if they need to make adjustments. The only downside I would like to mention is that it is a fragile item. While I haven't had the misfortune of dropping mine yet, it looks like the dial itself will break if dropped. In addition, the cable itself and its connector are very strong.
