This is my first microwave popcorn popper. I really love it! SOOO easy to use. The cleaning challenge is just like all other silicone items it is "floppy" and slippery making it difficult to know it is fully cleaned (best to throw in dishwasher when possible). Really do love it though. NOW for the warning. DISCLAIMER: This is not the popcorn popper's fault, totally on me. The popcorn setting on my microwave is not long enough to fully pop the corn, so I was doing by time to see what the optimum time would be (my micro is 4 mins). The warning is PAY ATTENTION if you are experimenting on the time. The popcorn can catch fire, YES FIRE UGH. It looked like those popcorn balls people make at Halloween only seriously charred LOL. The popcorn popper contained it and was not damaged (didn't melt) however, it has been washed 20-30 times and still smells of burnt popcorn. I continue to use it and it DOES NOT taint all the future batches (and it is not overwhelming, but definitely there). Do yourself a favor, DON'T GET DISTRACTED if you are working on perfecting your pop time!
