Reliable scale for stones and metals
I had another jewelry scale for weighing precious metals but it did not have a carat mode. As my skills have increased I am buying more gems by the price per carat weight and it is super helpful to have this scale when pricing. I took it to the gem show with me where many stones were listed by carat instead of by piece and found it so helpful to not have to bother the vendor each time I wanted to estimate a price of a stone. It was spot on each time, measuring exactly the same weight as the vendor's scale.
