Small and perfect to weigh small items. It is very accurate and it comes with a small 50g weight to calibrate the scale, which is simple to do. I even weighed a grain of rice to see how sensitive the scale was. Weighs a small bud accurately as well as a couple ounces. This is a rather smallish scale (4 ½” x 2 ½”) which is great for portability. The issue with the one I have is that the cover is actually touching the plastic weight plate. I gently pushed it down to see if it needed to be seated more but the lid still touches it. I marked the edge with a black sharpie and took a picture. It is better than many others digital scales that I had for reloading, the old ones were manufactured by the most recognized reloading manufacturers into a range price of $ 140.00 with an accurate of +/- 0.1 grains. This Newacalox digital scale cost me just $ 23.00 and it is working great. It has not external power as the old ones that I had but it weights as good as the old ones. scales are quite accurate, but also quite sensitive. this isn't a problem and could be expected.on the other hand.the plastic windshield on it as started to crack and has broken off of the unit. i am not sure why, and am not rough with it. the plastic for the shield seems very low quality, or just very fragile. be careful!i don't know if it is normal for 0.001 scales, but i find it necessary to calibrate them before every use. they don't get used every day, and i don't know how long they sit…

Precise, but not so accurate. Same item gets a slightly different reading each time. I'd call this +/- 5 mg, so if that's good enough for you then this is a great value.

I haven't had any problems with this scale being inaccurate or inconsistent. Seems to weigh accurately even at very low weights (basically, I would trust the hundredths place but not necessarily the thousandths). Easy enough to calibrate with the included weight, but I haven't found it necessary to recalibrate very frequently. Basically a solid value for the price you pay.

Battery cover was not molded properly and I had to use a piece of tape to hold it on; but seems to be very accurate as advertised for a small scale!
