Review on πŸ“ˆ Enhanced Rating of Promark Extension Drawer Slide by Mark Lodge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is exactly what full extensions should be.

Place in a custom built-in table/cabinet of 13 drawers and up. Boxes are constructed of 1/2" thick plywood, all 17" long and available in 3", 4" and 7" depths. Width - 18", 26", 28" and 29". Got ordered them twice and both arrived as promised, no damage. There aren't any instructions I wouldn't use. Sets of two come in a plastic bag. I didn't have any of the issues that other reviewers have reported. They all came apart easily and didn't bother with the bearings.Yes THANK YOU they come pre-lubricated.Roughly the viscosity of petroleum jelly and almost transparent. If you are concerned about touching lube I recommend using disposable nitrile gloves or a contractor. The finished surface and some mineral spirits helped fix that quickly.I made a few measurement errors that required a remove/reinstall.Usually a less worthy slide leads to failure but that didn't happen here. All the blocks got en the same dimensions and are produced from one to the next without surprises. I purchased and used the recommended #8 x 1/2" truss screws and they worked fine. Doesn't stick, rub or stick. Time is of the essence when things go into the store Drawers that won't open or close due to separation, alignment, or slack I've been banging on these drawers like a redhead foster child for about a month now and haven't had a glitch. They all open smoothly and close securely with no lifting required or twisted. They stay closed, even with more pressure than necessary, without bouncing or kicking back the like. The only bumps in the road came to me, especially on the vertical box. She puts the entire weight of the box on one rail while hanging on the other. These slides just aren't designed for going down. I think I'll solve the problem by doubling the slides below, or both, or doing a redesign. These are good drawer slides suitable for us farmers on a budget. It's not a Bougouise, a premium soft-close option, custom kitchen cabinets, sliding doors, or master nightstands, but it's exactly what the doctor ordered for my workshop. If you have a build kitchen or other cabinet with bottom/bottom mounted euro rails, this is a solid, significant upgrade without a lot of money or hassle, as long as your drawers are square. If you need instructions, the amazing AlGore web is teeming with them. Enjoy!
