I recently purchased this snow tube (because it advertised a heavier upgraded material) and a less expensive tube that was $12 cheaper. The other tube arrived in a nice box with professional labeling and included a carrying bag and a pull leash. The other tube weighed 5 lb 10 oz---just the tube itself. This tube, which arrived in a plastic bag, was noticeable less bulky, and weighted 3 lbs 4 oz. The fill valves were identical on both tubes. While it is possible that a lighter weight material can be stronger, it did not appear to be a better quality material and I found it baffling that it was so much lighter weight. The packaging was cheap and would not make for a nice gift. Needless to say, I have returned this product. By the way, the product came with a request to write a review. Perhaps that is why there are so many reviews that were written before the product was actually used.
