If you are looking for magnetic cabinet locks that will keep your home safe from children let me tell you straight away, get THIS set as it is definitely one of the easiest of the ones I've found have tested. . It took me less than 5 minutes to make 3 of our kitchen cabinets. I've used others and they were actually a bit tricky because I had to manually align them correctly or it didn't work. It has an adapter that makes the whole process super easy - just stick, peel, close cabinet door, open, and you're practically installed. You don't need any tools, just your bare hands and about 10 minutes of your time. When you receive this package, I recommend that you first watch the video that the seller posted. There's no need to read an instruction manual (I'm not sure it was even in the box) as most people find it easier to learn visually. Watch the video, it is VERY HELPFUL. I had to watch some parts of the video slowly and rewind and watch some parts again but once you get the point it's easy! It's really not difficult at all. When I first installed this I had to follow the video step by step, pausing the video, rewinding and then following each step. As for the second closet door, I only watched half of the video and did most of it without looking at the tutorial. It took me a minute to install the third cabinet without watching the video. The kitchen cabinet door in our house is old style (old house) so it's a bit odd and there isn't much space to work with. from inside. Wood isn't a huge slab, but somehow I managed to make it work perfectly. Our closet door also has some lines/engravings on it so the magnet has to get very close and in the right place for it to unlock. I'm very glad it works on our cabinets even if it's an old style. The great thing about these locks is that you can also "turn off" the magnet mechanism, meaning you can open and close as you please without the magnet. This comes in handy when you're cooking in the kitchen and know your child is playing somewhere else, so you don't have to use a magnet every time you're trying to get a bowl or pan. The tape works great and hasn't come loose from our thin wood panel so far. Only one magnet is included, so be careful not to lose it! It is usually taped to the door of our refrigerator. If for any reason you lose a magnet, you need to find another magnet, e.g. a child's toy or a fridge magnet and try to unlock it that way. You can always order another pack of these, although you might not be able to open the cupboard for a few days. I am very satisfied with this set and can only recommend it. This is one of the easiest I've come across. I will buy this particular set when I run out of 6 packs. Add this to your birth gift list. this is what you want, trust me!
