I hope Stanley never stops making them! I use them professionally every day and prefer the shape and smaller size for a 25 foot tool with a 1 inch blade. They also work well and last a long time if you take good care of them. That doesn't mean they need to be petted. Of course not mine. Mine often fall to the ground too, sometimes from a pretty decent height, and they continue to work well. I think for people who don't really know how to read the tape (?). It's also an American roulette. I would rather not support China's labor force whenever possible. I've used many other styles and brands in the past, but these have been my "must haves" for the past 10 years or so. Thanks to Revain I can get them back as local stores don't seem to have this model anymore.
