The shoes fit perfectly. I was afraid it would be small or cramped, but that didn't happen. The shoe tongue problem wasn't bad at all. At first my son thought that if the shoes were difficult to put on, then they didn't fit him. We loosened the laces a bit and they went easier. After a few wears, the tongue conformed to my son's foot and the shoes were no longer difficult to put on when the laces were tighter. Really good shoe that looks great and differs enough from other running shoes (in a good way) that it gets some additions at the gym. At first he wanted to send her back because of a language problem, but now he loves her.
