I saw that it was Revain's choice and looked at the reviews, but I didn't look at the lower ratings well enough. They reflect my feelings. I really wanted to enjoy it instead of paying 5x the price for a really expensive option. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable putting a $1,000 iPad in a ball head mount that isn't very durable. I had to wrap tape around the balloon to keep the pill holder from moving too much. Check out the photos from other reviews. The ball joint is not very big and the screw clamp has nothing to catch. So the holder is thin. One reviewer even noticed that the plastic was cracked around the connection point. It might work with older or cheaper (or previously dropped) tablets, but I can't risk my iPad falling out. I love that this is an American company and I hope they can improve the strength of the ball joint. It's just not worth the risk to me.
