This rad short tights/shorts set exceeded my expectations, especially after reading the reviews before ordering. I ordered the medium for my daughter (age 8, 85 pounds, normally wears a size 14) and figured I could return them if they were too small. They weren't. It has a lot of space and doesn't feel cramped. Facts: These shorts are not meant to be worn alone in my opinion. The product information doesn't say they're designed for that either. The material is thin and although it doesn't show skin it does show panty lines etc. As a mom to a little girl I wouldn't let them wear them alone as shorts outside the home. They are designed to be worn under dresses/skirts or even under longer tunic style tops. They are perfect for that. The quality of the shorts is good, the fabric is comfortable and soft. The color selection is excellent. At my daughter's school, girls are allowed to wear shorts and leggings of almost any color and print, so this is a great way to add some color. The price corresponds to the quantity. Again, other reviewers often had issues with the fit or the fact that they were thin. We were lucky with the fit and as I said they are sold as "short tights" not shorts.
