50% failure rate - two pairs of earrings fall off
A pair of clasps hold tight! They're so secure you have to twist them on and off. The other set didn't work and slips easily. I actually lost two different pairs of earrings (turquoise and pink opal) after the back came loose. Luckily I was home both times so the earrings weren't lost forever. I'm not sure why the difference in performance. For the price of sterlingbacks I expected 100% security. If they work, they're great! Sorry they don't all work!
