Most of my rifle cases are SKB i series cases and these logs are perfect for rifle cases. They are bright gold in color so they stand out slightly against the black body of the rifle and are easy to see. I live in California where guns must be unloaded in a locked compartment during transit. The contrast locks just make them easier for the cops to spot if I'm pulled over or something. The locks are strong enough that you don't have to fumble to open them. I don't know about you, but I use these little suitcase locks to lock my suitcases when I travel. The lock and key for these suitcase locks are so small that you have to fiddle with them to get them on and off your suitcase. These locks are big and strong enough that I don't have to do that. They are of course also small enough to fit through the padlock holes on the case.
