The lighter worked for a few weeks and then gave up. Which ended with a dropout or not lit at all. I really like the concept of this pipe and since I thought my pipe stopped working I bought another exact pipe from another seller and a can of butane which is Google's top recommended jet lighter and it worked every time Great. Just in case I used new butane on the first pipe and it worked again. no problem, it's always like that. So if you've tried this pipe and are having trouble with your lighter or are thinking of trying this pipe, please let me take the guesswork out of it breaking and let you know what I didn't. There is a difference with butane. I tried Ronson Butane first and it ran for a while then misfired before stopping completely. I switched to Hummingbird Butane (as it's Google's top pick, but I think any 99.9999% pure butane will do) and now both my tubes work every time, every hit. I apologize for my previously unfounded review. I had no idea how much the right can of butane could do. hope that helps
