With other top brands, the edges lie flat.
The edges do not lie flat on the table. Other higher quality brands have their edges laid flat out of the box. In addition, the edges are sharp and rough, so they irritate your skin - this is not the case with other brands. Just pay another $5 and get one from St**lS*ries. If you move your hand/mouse a lot (which this mouse pad was designed for), this should worry you. Anyone giving 5 or 4 stars must have very thick skin, or they are not using the mouse pad as it should be, or I just have a bad mouse pad.
