This is one of those things that I don't know where it's been my whole life. nice, wide, smooth surface for hands, keyboard and mouse. It's just fantastic! To be honest I'm going to be giving away some of these this year. that's how i like it. Nothing fancy, no crazy edges or patterns on it, just a nice pleasing finish. Let's call it a big win.

RevainBasics Mini Gaming Mouse Pad I wasn't expecting much. I thought it was time to replace my worn mouse pad after 20+ years. In general, I ordered the first two that came up in the search. There is nowhere to be happy. They're nice and thin, don't slide on the desk, the mouse is responsive. Couldn't be happier!

Compared to Logitech G640, it has a finer and rougher texture. I find the G640's smoother surface is much more comfortable to play with, and the thicker mouse pad is more comfortable and of higher quality. The Revain pad is a great size but a bit too rough and flimsy for my liking. Having tried countless mouse pads, I'd recommend the $40 G640 or the similarly priced Steelseries Qck+.

Carpet good at first glance. And it works fine. However, it does NOT last. It's already peeling off at the corners and sides and hasn't been through much yet. I use it for everyday office work. Nice mouse pad for the price. The edges are not completely flat due to the fold. Hopefully that will even out over time. The mouse pad itself is a hair's breadth thinner than other gaming mouse pads. First reason for 4 stars: The edges are sharp. Didn't cut you sharp, but annoyed you. I'm sure it can wear out after a while, or it could be a fall of this mouse pad, either way, the edges are noticeable. It's not really noticeable, but it's there.
