At first it will hold your iPhone with an otter but be sure to remove the rubber outer part of the otter and it will fit perfectly. However, getting to the home button is a real bummer. Second, this thing should be for women because I'm not a tall man and it barely fits in my hand. I had to make it so tight that it was pretty uncomfortable at first, but it's easy to find your sweet spot. If you have big hands, be sure to buy an extension cord. Third allergy so obvious if you are allergic to neoprene DO NOT BUY THIS! I was hoping to wear it over my shirt sleeve to protect my arm but no luck. I'm allergic to neoprene, and even because of the sleeve of my shirt, something suddenly slipped out of my hands after 3 training sessions. Overall, the phone holds up pretty well when running or cycling. As long as you are not allergic to neoprene this is a pretty good product. As for the difference between this case and the iPhone 5 case, I call it bullshit*. I bought the iPhone 5 version for my wife and the only difference is the thickness of the foam that holds the foam. The one for my phone (iPhone 4) is exactly the same size as the iPhone 5 version apart from the thickness which I have for an otter which it doesn't have. So depending on what phone and case you have, buy the cheapest, not the newest.
