Wasn't piss proof in sheets

Got this for my 3 year old's bed. She is potty trained but occasionally urinates on the bed. I chose this waterproof mattress topper based on the many reviews and high overall score. But in my experience, this mattress pad did not prevent urine from seeping into the new mattress (which now has a urine stain/odor). I'll try another mattress topper that claims to be waterproof, hopefully one of those options.
