I bought this to replace the charge controller in my trailer with two 6v batteries connected. Once everything is connected I get a stable error code E06. This code appears because the charge controller is looking for 12.2 volts. The problem is that the display keeps showing E06 and I have to scroll through everything to see the status of the battery. I have contacted the company and have not heard from them. long so ideally you should be on your batteries to use it. Otherwise it's useless. At least the hidden mount works well and the device feels like a quality product overall. I would not recommend this to anyone with a 12 volt system. It should be made for car batteries, not 6 volt batteries because it charges my batteries and tells me they are low at 11.9 volts. After all, the different states of charge hardly differ. You can choose what type of battery you have, but it will charge them all the same way based on the manual. Sealed and flooded batteries are just looking for a slightly different (0.2 volt) maximum and minimum charge.
