They are perfect for my little one, she likes to wear her slippers as soon as she gets home from school or when we have to make short trips around our apartment building (our laundry is upstairs in our house). and she likes to join in, but putting on sneakers can be a problem if the shoes only stay in for 2 minutes). She wears size 7/8 in her casual shoes and has wide feet like most toddlers, and size 8-8.5T fits her perfectly. They serve their purpose and she enjoys them - and that's all that matters!
